I caught the ‘clay bug' while attending pottery classes and advanced ceramics at Crawley Technical Collage and Horsham Art School, under the tuition of Ray Everett, Mike Allwork and John Green. I was amazed at the diverse forms and finishes that can be produced from clay, coloured slips and glazes.  My inspiration comes from the country side around me, plants, personal memories, the love for colour and textures. Also, teaching children for 25 years has influenced my style of work.

I exhibit at the Association of Sussex Artists, Barns Green, Shipley, Southwater, Wisbrough Green, Oakwood Hill, Cranleigh and Horsham Open Studio's. Please contact me for the exact dates of exhibitions.

The workshop where I have worked for the past 30 years is in the brick built 'COALSHED' at the rear of my little Edwardian Terrace house in the hamlet of Maplehurst, West Sussex, England.
